A series of wooden carved works from a capsule collection with seto totempole souvenir, an artist who creates wooden carved figures using local timber and waste materials in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture.
This work was created in resonance with the theme of TUCKSHOP 2025AW, "NOTIFICATION: OFF" – a time to step away from the hustle and bustle and confront nature and oneself.
The figures, carved in a quiet environment away from digital distractions, bring a small "space" and "awareness" to everyday life.
Furthermore, this work also accommodates the custom of "filling in one eye" seen in Japanese Daruma culture.
There is also the joy of nurturing it as your own small charm, by drawing in one pupil with a wish and then filling in the other eye when the wish is fulfilled.
This collaboration includes a tote bag printed with an original pole.
It's a special item that can be enjoyed along with the artwork.
【PIN-01】 features a pink face on the top and a human-shaped figure on the bottom. Due to the nature of the artist, each piece is one-of-a-kind. The brand logo is printed on the back.

We hope you will enjoy the aging process that deepens with use, which is a unique charm of this work.
seto totempole souvenir
An artist who creates wooden carved figures using local timber and waste materials in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. They participate in thinning activities in the forests of Seto, practicing a circular form of manufacturing that gives back local natural resources to their creations.
By re-evaluating the once-present "handmade souvenir culture" and through collecting and researching local folk toys and overseas folk crafts, they have carefully deciphered the local activities and cultural backgrounds.
Based on this learning, they create wooden carved figures imbued with the simplicity and warmth of Seto, aiming to convey the charm of the Seto region and create opportunities for people to actually visit.
