A series of carved wooden works from a capsule collection with seto totempole souvenir, an artist based in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, who creates carved wooden dolls using local wood and reclaimed materials.
These works were created while resonating with the theme of TUCKSHOP's 2025AW collection, "NOTIFICATION: OFF"—a time to step away from the hustle and bustle and connect with nature and oneself.
Carved in a quiet environment, distanced from the digital, these dolls bring a small "space" and "awareness" to everyday life.
Furthermore, these works are compatible with the custom of "drawing one eye" seen in Japanese Daruma culture.
There is also the joy of nurturing it as your own small charm, drawing one pupil with a wish and then adding the other eye when the wish is fulfilled.
This collaboration also includes a tote bag printed with an original pole.
This is a special item that can be enjoyed together with the artwork.
【GRE-02】 features a green face at the top and an animal doll at the bottom. Due to the nature of the artist, this is a one-of-a-kind item. The logo is printed on the back.

・As each item is handmade, there may be individual differences in color, shape, and expression.
Please enjoy the "subtlety" and "flavor" that mass-produced items do not possess.
・Because natural materials are used, the color and texture will change over time.
We hope you will enjoy the aging process, which deepens with use, as a unique charm of this work.
seto totempole souvenir
An artist who creates carved wooden dolls using local wood and reclaimed materials in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. The artist participates in thinning activities in the forests of Seto, engaging in circular manufacturing that returns local natural resources to their creative process.
Re-evaluating the "handmade souvenir culture" that once existed, the artist has carefully interpreted the local activities and cultural background through the collection and research of local folk toys and overseas folk art.
Based on this learning, the artist creates carved wooden dolls imbued with the simplicity and warmth of Seto, aiming to convey the charm of the Seto region and create opportunities for people to visit.
